Pool Roll Sessions
Rolling is a skill you’ll want to learn correctly the first time. Our experienced instructors make the difference between frustration and success. One-on-one instruction in The River Store pool provides the best environment for mastering this counter intuitive maneuver. If you’re learning a new roll (offside, hand, back deck) or your roll only works part of the time, we can work with you to get it up to speed. 2:1 student/instructor ratio
Cost: $60/per person, maximum 4 (2:1 student/instructor ratio)
When: Most Saturdays, 5:00pm to 6:30pm, April through September
Where: The River Store’s on-site Rolling Pool
Private Pool Roll Sessions
If Saturday Roll Sessions don’t fit into your schedule call us to schedule one that does. We’re happy to set up private roll sessions on a day and time that work for you. You can split the $120 cost between three people. This brings the price for roll instruction down to an easily affordable level.
Cost: $120 per 120 minute session for 1-3 participants
When: By request – call 530-333-9115 to schedule
Where: The River Store’s on-site Rolling Pool
Prerequisites: No true prerequisites for Roll Sessions. River Kayaking 1 or Sea Kayaking 1 encouraged.
Progression: Sea Kayaking 3 is a good class to consider once you have a reliable pool roll.
