Rental Kayaks & Gear

Our rentals are first come, first served. Reservations are recommended.
To make a reservation you can call us at (530) 333-9115 or e-mail us. If you haven’t heard back from us the reservation is not confirmed. A credit card is required to hold your reservation. Cancellations are accepted no later then 48 hours prior to the start of your reservation. If you fail to cancel within the required time, we will charge your credit card for the amount equaling a one-day rental for each item that has been reserved under your name.
Rental Kayaks
If you’re taking a class or going on an outing with Current Adventures, with the exception of Quick Clinics and multi-day trips, we’ll provide a kayak and all the gear you’ll need.
Rental kayaks, inflatable kayaks and rafts are available for use outside of El Dorado County please contact us for pricing. Package and multi-day discounts available.

- Whitewater Kayaks day rental (inflatable or hardshell) - $20 per day
- Whitewater Kayaks week rental – $120 per week
- Sea or Touring Kayaks day rental – $40 per day
- Sea or Touring Kayaks weekend rental – $60 per weekend or 2 day rental
Rental Paddling Equipment
We have limited quantities of some items. Advance reservations are recommended. Package and multi-day discounts available.
- Drytops $30/day
- Drysuits $45/day
- Wetsuits $18/day
- Paddle Jackets $5/day
- PFD’s (personal floatation device or lifejacket) $10/day
- Helmets $5/day
- Spray Skirts $5/day
- Booties $5/day
- Kayak Paddles $10-$20/day depending upon model
- Raft Paddles $5/day
We need Height and Weight information for all members of your party if you are renting wetsuits. Shoe size is needed if you are renting booties. Please specify men’s or women’s sizing.
