Slalom Clinic at The Nugget
Current Adventures continues to be the local & regional source for slalom training. We have a personal love & enjoyment of this aspect of paddling and offer the only gate training venue in Central California. Clinics are taught with small student to instructor ratios to ensure personal attention. Our instructors have had national racing experience and/or coaching experience & training. You may never want to “race” but gate training is invaluable for paddlers of all skill levels to help develop the precision & timing of your river running skills.
Location: The Nugget (above Chili Bar put-in, private access) Please park in the upper parking areas away from the river. We ask that you do not park on the lower loop at The Nugget. There is lots of Commercial rafting traffic there in the mornings. No dogs are allowed at The Nugget so please leave the pooches at home.
Time: 9:00am – 3:30pm

Prerequisites: Class II skills, roll recommended.
