Current Adventures Kayak School is based in the small town of Lotus, California. Lotus lies in the Coloma-Lotus Valley along the South Fork American River. Nestled at the base of the Sierras, in the heart of California’s incredible paddling region the South Fork and surrounding area features fantastic whitewater rivers, breath taking Sierra lakes and calm water stretches of river for cruising in touring kayaks.

Central/Northern California Regions
Our classes and tours are spread throughout some of the best kayaking venues in Central and Northern California for both touring and river styles of kayaking. In addition to the American Rivers we offer classes and trips on the Trinity and Tuolumne Rivers as well as in the Monterey and San Francisco Bay areas.

Additional Locations
We offer trips and classes in locations around the US and the world. These venues vary year to year but include locations such as Grand Canyon, Rogue River, Costa Rica and Panama.
