Accelerated Kayak Camps are whitewater kayaking classes for paddlers interested in learning and progressing quicker than our regular 6-day river kayaking program.
The East Fork Carson River is a great first overnight whitewater kayak trip for beginning to intermediate paddlers. We provide great food, raft support and logistics while the nearby hot springs and amazing Eastern Sierra scenery help make the memories. Even expert paddlers love to come back to this run every spring. Let us guide you down this river and spoil you in the process. You’ll want to return every year as spring rite of passage. Kids have a great time in this 5 day, adventure-filled program. Kayaking skills & river safety are taught through games, group activities and exploration. These camps are based on the South Fork American River.

Involves kayak roll technique review in the River Store solar heated pool with an instructor and possible video work before transferring your successful kayak pool roll techniques to the river for further confidence building and focus training for the river kayaking environment.
Whitewater kayaking instruction with Current Adventures kayaking will have you paddling the river in no time!! River Kayaking 1 is the first class in our time tested beginner series. In this two day class first time paddlers develop the foundation and skills necessary to continue on their own with the exciting sport of river kayaking. On site rolling pool, 3:1 instructor to student ratio and expert, personable instructors make for an empowering experience.
